Does the job
This drive is exactly as advertised. It is a bare drive, no cables or mounting gear included (although you probably don’t need either). It does not include instructions either; so you should know what you are doing if you are buying this hardware. It is an excellent choice for an older computer.

Excellent drive
I bought this drive to replace my measly 30GB boot drive that came with my Dell. In order to replace your boot drive, you need to MOVE your OS to the new drive, and make it bootable. Simply dragging files won’t do it at all.

WARNING - not what the description says!
The description for this product says “Full kit includes drive cables, installation and management software, and illustrated instructions”. All I got was an OEM drive… just the drive with no cable, rails, software, instructions or anything else. I don’t know if an underpaid stockboy just screwed up [...]
