Does the job
This drive is exactly as advertised. It is a bare drive, no cables or mounting gear included (although you probably don’t need either). It does not include instructions either; so you should know what you are doing if you are buying this hardware. It is an excellent choice for an older computer.

Western Digital quality is unsurpassed!
Been using Western Digital drives in my 24/7/365 machines for a while and they are built like tanks. Low heat dissipation and quiet. SMART status alerts you to problems well before the dreaded crash. Keep up the good work WD!

Excellent drive
I bought this drive to replace my measly 30GB boot drive that came with my Dell. In order to replace your boot drive, you need to MOVE your OS to the new drive, and make it bootable. Simply dragging files won’t do it at all.
