Samsung Wireless LAN Adaptor for Blu-Ray Player
I have the Samsung LN52A-650 LCD TV and the BD-P1600 Blu-Ray player. I have wireless internet access in my house. Initially, I had a real problem getting the BR player to connect to the internet. It would find my SSID but would not connect. When I set the configuration to manual and input all the requested information, it failed the Ping test. After hours of troubleshooting, I found a piece of information on the web, telling me that the SSID cannot have characters or spaces in the ID. I had spaces in the SSID name, so once I fixed that, it connected without a problem. I didn’t need to buy a new wireless router. That seemed to be the leading fix for this problem for others on the web. However, I didn’t want to go through the hassle of re-configuring a new wireless router nor did I wanted to spend the money on one. In the end, I didn’t have to.

Amazing Adapter!
Wow, this wireless adapter could not be any easier to set up! Using on my Samsung BDP-1600 Blu-Ray, I just plugged it in, went to the DVD menu, setup, selected my wireless network which brought up a keyboard to enter my network password. Instantly and automatically, it connected to the network and gives you a code, which you enter on Netflix (just follow the on-screen TV instructions). INSTANT MOVIES! Very good quality. You can get HD quality movies with a type “N” router, but I only have a type “G”, but still, the quality is great! If you unplug the adapter and replug it in, it automatically reconnects to your router and Netflix so you don’t have to go through setup again.
I highly recommend it for streaming your Netflix movies to your TV (my TV is a Samsung LN52A630)

Does the job but hate proprietary equipment
We purchaced a Samsung Blu-Ray / Internet enabled machine. It states have wire and wireless capabilities. Little they want to tell you, if you MUST wireless purchace this product. No other USB-compatible wireless adapter will work. Thank you for sticking us with another $ 75 we had not expected.
