Easy to install, effective!
The InGrid door and window sensors are so easy to install. No wires and no screws required, just peel and stick. The whole system is a breeze to set-up. They are very effective. It will not allow you to arm your system with a open door or window. However, you can bypass this option online if you want to leave a window open, for example, but still arm your system. This would be helpful if you wanted to air out an upstairs bedroom but still want to be able to set your alarm. You can easily update it to use that sensor again in the future, when you no longer need it open. This is a very flexible system, with easy to use online controls.

Great product for DIYer’s
Works fantastic for me. BTW, during placement of the sensor over the door frame, there are provisions for screwing them in. I did just that with a couple of small wood screws.

Great but …. possible to disarm.
The sensors are easy to install without drilling into the door frame and also a way to fix it with screws to make it more difficult to disarm the sensor. However, I noticed they do not deal well in colder temperatures. I have two in my basement is not well insulated and can be cool (not below zero) and he regularly loses loses communication with them. It can be quite annoying when you rush to the door to go to work. There is a way around using the console. You do not know how he would deal if you need to install them in your garage. Ingrid is still a large and versatile package of home safety. Very easy to install with a very friendly user interface.
