As a finish carpenter ,I needed a blade that would cut miters without blade defliction on my hitachi sliding saw. This blade works very well. I have several blades, they stay sharp and can be sharpened about three times before you toss them.Cuts pine like a dream, hard wood takes a sharp blade espicaly on miters,

blades are narrow gauge ideal for applications where the minimum withdrawal of equipment or use a saw low power is needed. The computer designed, hardened blade body with slots of thermal expansion, gives this blade the ability to run 45 of 45 miters without burning the wood. Thermal expansion slots help prevent blade breakage by allowing it to develop over the operation of the friction that causes heat occurs. Application: miter saws and radial saws
