Excellent melamine blade
I’ve been using this blade for double-sided melamine sheet goods. When new, it cuts with no chipping on either side. After 20 4×8 sheets it was chipping a tiny bit on the back side, so I had it resharpened - better than new. Always a perfect cut on the top side. Occasional superficial chipping (more like minor nicks) on the back side as the blade wears, but I think it’s as good as can be had without a scoring blade. Once edgebanding is applied and the edge is eased with a pass of sandpaper, it’s not noticeable unless you go looking for it.

Good for Cutting Acrylic Sheets
I bought this for cutting 1/4″ thick acrylic sheets to put around my hot tub to block the cold wind in the winter when I need to warm up after a day of cutting buckthorn at Ives Road Fen Preserve in Southeast Michigan. It cuts them cleanly. I haven’t used it many times so I can’t comment on its durability.
