I am actually partial to a wooden handle and was never to fond of the whole metal handle in a hammer. But on the job one day I borrowed one of these from a buddy and never looked back. Now don’t get me wrong most days I will still pick up a good wooden handled hammer, but when I know I am going to be driving a 50 Lb box of 16’s because no air for a nail gun available, I will grab this 28 oz Estwing and never miss a beat. The weight and balance is superb. So grab a handful of steel and swingaway.
