Diablo D0530F 5-3/8″ x, seems like a good blade

seems like a good blade

First, I’d like to correct the arbor descriptions that are displayed for this blade. It is NOT a 5/8 arbor blade. It IS a 10mm arbor blade, for use on many of the available trim saws. It works fine on my Craftsman C3 5 3/8″ portable trim saw that only accepts 10mm arbor blades. If you look at the item’s image, by Viewing Larger Image, it will also clearly show you the 10mm arbor information.

I gave it 4 stars because I’ve not had a chance to use this blade on steel, but it goes through aluminum siding okay, barely showing wear after a few cuts. My saw is a little underpowered, so more powerful saws should run this blade just fine.

Update (2/6/2012): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen.

10mm arbor, good blade
I got this for cutting metal roofs, still a horrible job. So far, it works well. I took care to control the saw so it does not jump, and the chip in the tooth. It is slow, a lot of noise, and throws a lot of hot chips Sharp, but it gets the job done. The cuts are mostly flawless. Unfortunately, it has a tree of 10 mm, not 5 / 8 "Arbor announced. I put on a milling machine and used a carbide solid 5 / 8" end mill to enlarge the hole. If you have a shaft 5 / 8 on your saw, you can buy a different blade. Make sure the maximum RPM of the blade is more than your saw.
