A RELIABLE, QUALITY PRODUCT FOR FINE DETAIL SOLDERING
I have been using this torch in my business for fine silver soldering for many years. Tried several others, but this is the best–and now they have improved the adjustment system for better flame control. I just bought 2 new ones to add to the 3 older ones that are still working after YEARS of use.
Update (2/5/2012): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen.

Great little torch
I have many similar flares on the service and repair of boats, the torch is the best thing I used to use. Very good quality, simple operation and high performance.

Blazer Micro-Torch
I have owned a Blazer Micro Torch for at least four (4) years. My original torch was damaged while unprotected in my tool pouch recently. I know I could have had my old one repaired, but I chose to replace it.
Since I brought it to work to solder lugs onto 10 gauge wire, one of my co-workers was impressed and since I told him I was going to get one for the company and one for me, he asked that I get him one too.
The micro torch has its place. It definitely works great for heating up the solder lugs and for soldering in remote areas (no electricity). I have even heated shrink tube, however you have to be careful not to apply the flame to the shrink tubing or the insulation on any wires.
I like that I can also control the intensity of the flame. Hey, if I didn’t like the first one I bought, I certainly would not have purchased another one.
