This small, inexpensive sprinkler comes with an impressive array of worthwhile features. Using the diffuser pin, you can opt for a heavy stream, a fine spray, or any intensity in between. Likewise, you can control the distance of the spray with an easy top knob and set a lever to control how full a circle the water will cover, so you needn’t douse your car and grill in pursuit of a watered lawn. The spike base is an especially nice feature because it lets you choose how high off the ground you want the action end of the sprinkler (depending on the height of your lawn or garden), and it also holds the sprinkler firmly in the ground. For those who don’t care to perforate their lawns, however, there are other freestanding models that leave the ground intact. A good value for the price.
